Dead Or Alive 6 Delayed Two Weeks

Koei Tecmo has announced via Twitter that Dead or Alive 6, Team Ninja’s upcoming fighting game, will see a two-week delay to “further balance and polish” the game. The original date for the title was February 15, but now players won’t get a chance until March 1.

It seems unlikely, though not completely impossible, that the game is being delayed two weeks simply for polishing and balance. Team Ninja might want to put their best foot forward with the game’s release and fix an issue that popped up late in development. It does seem more likely that Koei Tecmo wants to get the game out of the hellish two-week period in mid-February where the shelves will be stacked with competition.

The DOA twitter has made suggestions that there might be a beta for the game ahead of launch, so that might satiate fans that wanted to play this sooner than March. The game will be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
