Halo Infinite Season One: Heroes Of Reach Will Last Until May 2022

Halo Infinite’s multiplayer was surprise shadow dropped during today’s Xbox 20th Anniversary stream, and shortly after that reveal, the official Halo Twitter account announced that the first season will of multiplayer will last until next year.

More specifically, Season 1: Heroes of Reach, which is a season based around the Spartans and characters from Halo: Reach, will last until May of 2022. That means Season 1 is half a year long, which should give players plenty of time to unlock all tiers of the battle pass. According to Xbox, doing so will yield you over 100 rewards.

As you can see in the teaser image above, some of those rewards include a flaming head effect, flaming shoulder pads, new helmets, new Spartan armor skins, and more. The blue ones indicate a rare item, the purple even rarer, and the yellow items represent legendary items.

As noted in today’s surprise multiplayer announcement, “all of your Battle Pass progression, Spartan customization, and shop purchases will carry over from the beta to the full release of Halo Infinite.” Season 1 will feature “multiple in-game events with their own rewards and activities,” and the first is called Fracture: Tenrai. This Fracture event will feature a limited-time Event Pass, a unique playlist, and Samurai-themed rewards, and it begins next week.

The Halo Infinite campaign will launch on December 8. The Halo Twitter account says, “the campaign will feature exclusive cosmetic rewards for your multiplayer spartan.” The account also says that it expects a lot of people to jump into Halo Infinite today and that as a result, 343 Industries asks that people “please be patient as we work through any day one issues.” If you do run into issues, the team asks that you support a bug report to the Halo Support Twitter account
