How to get Mew and Jirachi in the 2021 Gen 4 remakes.
In Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl it’s possible to receive a Mew and Jirachi from having a save file for previous games in the series.
These are Pokémon: Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee or Pokémon Sword and Shield, and by having played on them Nintendo Switch, the respective bonus Mythical will be yours.
Though the requirements are as simple as that, you need to reach a specific point in the game first – which this pages explains in more detail.

How to get Mew from Pokémon: Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl
First, make sure you have a save file from either Let’s Go Pikachu or Eevee on your Nintendo Switch system.
You can then receive your bonus Mew in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl by reaching Floarama Town, which is about four hours into the game.
Once there, speak to the madame in the field of flowers – it’s at the south end of the town – and she will give you Mew.
Note that no matter how many save files of Let’s Go Pikachu or Eevee you have on your system, you will only receive a single Mew during Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl this way.
How to get Jirachi from Pokémon Sword and Shield in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl
First, make sure you have a save file from either Sword or Shield on your Nintendo Switch system.
You can then receive your bonus Jirachi in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl by reaching Floarama Town, which is about four hours into the game.
Once there, speak to the gentleman in the field of flowers – it’s at the south end of the town – and he will give you Jirachi.
Note that no matter how many save files of Sword or Shield you have on your system, you will only receive a single Jirachi during Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl this way.
