How to get pumpkins in Pokémon Unite explained

There are three ways to earn pumpkins during the Pokémon Unite Halloween event – daily login bonuses, the Halloween in Mer Stadium quests and from a Pumpkin Box, which we cover in the section below.

It’s important to remember that the number of pumpkins you can earn during the Pokémon Unite Halloween event is capped, which means you may not have enough for every reward. For this reason, we recommend spending your pumpkins very wisely.

When it comes to the login bonuses, you can earn a total of 49 pumpkins by logging in daily 14 times throughout the event. This means you can safely miss a day and earn all of these pumpkins.

There are eight Halloween in Mer Stadium quests, which, as the name suggests, can only be completed in the Halloween themed Mer Stadium and, when completed, supply you with either pumpkins or a Pumpkin Box.

Here are the Halloween in Mer Stadium quests and their associated rewards:

• Participate in 1 Halloween in Mer Stadium battle – 3 Pumpkins
• Win 1 Halloween in Mer Stadium battle – 3 Pumpkins
• Participate in 1 Halloween in Mer Stadium battle with a friend – 3 Pumpkins
• Win 1 Halloween in Mer Stadium battle with a friend – 2 Pumpkin Boxes
• Win 3 Halloween in Mer Stadium battles with a friend – 2 Pumpkin Boxes
• Participate in 10 Halloween in Mer Stadium battles – 10 Pumpkins
• Put a pumpkin on a Pokémon’s head 10 times – 10 Pumpkins
• Win 10 Halloween in Mer Stadium battles with a friend – 10 Pumpkins

This means you can earn 39 pumpkins and 2 Pumpkin Boxes by completing the quests above.

Overall, you’ll gain a total of 88 pumpkins from collecting the daily login bonuses and completing the Halloween in Mer Staduim quests.

Pumpkin Box odds in Pokémon Unite explained

A Pumpkin Box in Pokémon Unite is a loot box containing the special Halloween event currency – pumpkins.

After you’ve earned all of the pumpkins from the daily login bonuses and the Halloween in Mer Stadium quests, Pumpkins Boxes are the only way to earn more pumpkins.

The issue, however, is that, aside from the two boxes you earn from the Halloween in Mer Stadium quests, each Pumpkin Box costs 2 pumpkins. Since you only receive one pumpkin from opening one of these boxes, you risk the possibility of not being able to afford any of the rewards you desire.

For this reason, we highly recommend collecting all of the pumpkins from both the login bonuses and Halloween in Mer Stadium quests before you even consider opening a Pumpkin Box. You then need to carefully decide exactly which rewards you want to have and, if there are some you can’t afford, do you really want them.

Pumpkin rewards in Pokémon Unite explained

Pumpkins can be exchanged for a number of Halloween themed rewards in Pokémon Unite.

For some reason though, the number of pumpkins you can earn is limited and, because of this, you might be able to unlock every reward on offer.

Due to this, we recommend carefully considering which rewards you want to unlock – do you want the Halloween themed rewards or just the Greedent Unite License?

You will be able to afford the Greedent Unite License if you complete all of the Halloween in Mer Stadium quests and collect every daily login bonus, but you may not have enough left over for the majority of the Halloween themed rewards.
