Get your sword and watering can ready! Today’s Nintendo Direct brought news about Marvelous’ Rune Factory series. Not only is Rune Factory 5 in development, but Rune Factory 4: Special is also coming to the console with some new additions, particularly of the newly-wed variety with new stories to play through based on your marriage choice. Rune Factory 4 originally launched on 3DS back in 2013, making these announcements a nice surprise since it’s been some time since we’ve heard a peep about the series.
While we have no release window on Rune Factory 5, Rune Factory 4 is set out to come out this year.
