Final Fantasy 13 trilogy to be Xbox One backwards compatible

Final Fantasy 13 – the game apparently so good there’s three of them – will soon be backwards compatible on Xbox One.

You’ll be able to play Final Fantasy 13, Final Fantasy 13-2 and Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy 13 on Xbox One from 13th November onwards.

Microsoft shared the news tonight during its very loud XO18 fan event in Mexico City, which is still going on right now if you want to tune in.

More than 500 Xbox 360 games are now backwards compatible, 25 having received Xbox One X enhancements. 32 original Xbox games are also now playable through the service.
